When you contact us
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. All three fields are required to submit the form. The site also records the submission date and form language. Please avoid including sensitive data or information unrelated to your enquiry.
Messages are saved in our management tool and forwarded to our email service. We use them to respond, continue the conversation and handle any follow-up to your enquiry.
When an enquiry is made with a view to entering into a contract, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into that contract. For other correspondence, it is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
Retention
Contact enquiries and related correspondence are retained while they are being handled, then for no more than three years after the last exchange. This applies to copies in both our management tool and email service.
If correspondence is needed to fulfil a contract, meet a legal obligation or establish or defend a legal claim, the relevant records may be retained separately for the period applicable to that purpose.
Access and service providers
Data is accessible to WAVYZZ’s management and only to people authorised to handle the enquiry. OVHcloud provides website hosting, and Zoho Mail provides our business email service, configured on its European infrastructure.
Zoho states that some access by its staff from outside the European Economic Area is covered by standard contractual clauses. Its documentation describes these access arrangements and safeguards.
Browsing and cookies
You do not need an account to read the public pages. The website does not integrate advertising tools or analytics that set cookies. WAVYZZ’s private administration area uses session mechanisms needed for authentication.
WAVYZZ operates technical logs to keep the site running and secure, based on its legitimate interest in protecting its services. They may contain your IP address, the requested page, request time, browser information and referring page where provided. Local copies are replaced through rotation when their allocated storage limit is reached; monitoring copies for this site are configured for 24-hour retention.
Hosting and email providers may also retain technical information needed for their own services, under their retention policies.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in applicable law, you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Data portability may apply to data processed automatically on a contractual basis.
To exercise your rights, email contact@wavyzz.com and describe your request. We may ask for additional information where necessary to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
